Glen Fraser

Solicitor | Director

Glen worked in two Legal 500 firms prior to the creation of Fraser Hollands Solicitors. Glen represents Clients in all types of Family Law matters as well as Wills and Probate. Glen is a Member of the Law Society’s Children’s Panel and is working towards STEP membership. As well as advising Clients, Glen undertakes the advocacy in many of his cases. Glen enjoys history, electronic music, motorcycling and spectator sport. In his spare time, Glen likes to travel to    First World War landmarks across Europe and is a member of the Great War Group.

Gary Hollands

Solicitor | Director

Gary is a solicitor experienced in all areas of Family Law. He specialises in Care Proceedings and Children Act matters. He is a member of the Family Law Children’s Panel, representing parents and children in all Court tiers including High Court and has been involved in a number of press reported cases. Gary also undertakes advocacy on a lot of his cases. Before qualifying, Gary was a professional snooker player.

Hannah Downs

Solicitor

Hannah is a Solicitor who specialises in conducting a range of different private and public family law cases to include Social Services involvement, Children Act Proceedings and Proceedings concerning Non-Molestation Orders. Hannah is an enthusiastic lawyer who is friendly and committed to her clients. She prides herself on providing a high standard of care to all her clients. Hannah has a wealth of experience having begun her career as a Family Paralegal and in 2017, she qualified as a Solicitor specialising in Family Law. She is now a member of the Children’s Panel allowing her to represent the children through their Children’s Guardian, in addition to already representing parents and other family members. In her spare time, Hannah likes to spend time socialising with family and friends.

Laura Gray

Private Client Lawyer

Laura brings over 20 years of experience within the legal industry. She began her career working in a Wills and Probate department and, having gained experience across a variety of practice areas, has found that Wills and Probate is her true passion and chosen area of specialism.

Laura is hardworking, enthusiastic, and dedicated to delivering an excellent level of client service. She takes a professional yet personable approach, building strong relationships and always placing her clients’ needs at the forefront of everything she does.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her family and friends and keeping active at the gym.

Michelle LeMasonry

Family Lawyer

Michelle began her legal career in 2009 and has since gained extensive experience across a variety of legal roles, progressing from Receptionist to Family Lawyer. Throughout her career, Michelle has worked within several areas of law; however, her passion has always remained within family law, where she has developed specialist expertise and a client-focused approach.

Michelle is committed to supporting clients through often complex and sensitive matters with professionalism, empathy, and clear advice.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys travelling and socialising, often exploring the countryside in her self-converted campervan with her Boxer dog, Bruce.

Danni Simpson

Trainee Solicitor

Danni previously worked as a Legal Assistant and joined our team in 2018 to assist with collating court bundles. Danni soon became a PA at the firm and then assisted Laura in the day-to-day running of her Wills files. In May 2023, Danni achieved a Level 3 Diploma in Paralegal Practice. Since then, Danni has built up a case load of Wills clients. In 2024 Danni begun her training to become a qualified Solicitor.  Danni loves animals and enjoys reading in her spare time.

Katherine Rose Fearn

Trainee Solicitor

Katherine joined the firm in 2024 as a Legal Assistant, and quickly progressed to a Trainee Solicitor within the Family team. Katherine has experience of running a case load of Public Law Outlines, Children Act and Family Law Act proceedings under supervision. Katherine has a 1st class Bachelors in Criminology, Policing and Forensics, a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology, and later completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Law and then her Legal Practice Diploma, and is presently studying for the Solicitors Qualifying Exam, with the view of qualifying as a Solicitor in 2027. With Katherine’s background in forensics and psychology, she brings a unique ability to scrutinise forensic and psychological reports, ensuring it is robustly tested when relied upon as evidence in proceedings. She combines a determined and proactive approach to advocacy with a supportive and empathetic manner when working with clients. She has been described as “formidable” by instructed counsel and clients have reviewed her as going beyond the job. In her spare time, Katherine spends time with her cat, Pumpkin, listening to vintage soul-funk music, and watching reality television.

Shannon Hickman

Trainee Costs Lawyer

Shannon has worked at the firm for over ten years and has a wealth of knowledge in Legal Aid queries and procedures. Shannon began working as an administrator for the firm, learning on the job to deal with all aspects of the CCMS system. Shannon is a quick learner and always keen to progress. Now Shannon is year two of studying to be a Costs Lawyer through the ACL. Shannon bills the majority of our Legal Aid cases, including Care Proceedings, Children’s Act Proceedings, and Non-Molestation matters. In her spare time, Shannon enjoys a pamper day and spending time with her young family.

Kierran Boden

Legal Cashier

Before joining our team, Kierran worked as a Legal Cashier for eight years in a reputable law firm. Kierran started working at Fraser Hollands Solicitors in September 2019 and assists the Directors in overseeing the firm’s finances. Kierran deals predominantly with money entries and invoicing for both Legal Aid and privately funded clients. Kierran attends SRA Accounts rules courses annually, to ensure the firm keeps up to date with any changes to the SRA Accounts rules. In his spare time, Kierran enjoys spending time with his large group of family and friends.

Support Staff

Emma Varney

Paralegal – Family Department

Emma worked at Medway County Court for over ten years before joining our firm. Emma has a wealth of knowledge in assisting on Divorce, Care and Children’s Act matters. Emma assists fee earners with the day-to-day running of their cases, opening new matters on our case management system, applying for Legal Aid, and assisting Clients with enquiries. Emma has recently achieved a Level 3 NALP qualification in Paralegal Practice. In her spare time Emma is restoring her house and is known for her quirky choice of tights!

Leah Champ

Paralegal – Wills and Probate Department

Leah joined our team in the summer of 2021 as Front of House in our Sheerness office. She went on to obtain her Level 3 qualification in Business Administration in November 2022, followed by completing her Legal Secretaries Diploma in July 2024. Leah has since successfully completed her Paralegal course in December 2025 and now works as a Paralegal/Legal Secretary for the entire Wills and Probate department.

She is dedicated and reliable, with hands‑on experience in Wills and Probate. Leah is known for her professionalism, excellent communication, and strong organisational skills, with a proven ability to manage sensitive client interactions and support fee earners effectively.

Outside of work, Leah enjoys spending time with her horse, Stan, and attending the gym.

Sheryl Brown

PA – Family Department

Sheryl joined our team in April 2026. She has 29 years’ experience working in various areas of law including Family, Childcare, Criminal, Proceeds of Crime and Dispute Resolution (Commercial) and therefore brings a varied and vast amount of knowledge with her to the firm. The majority of her experience was gained in the City of London including working at Leading Law Firms. Her roles have varied from Legal Secretary, Legal PA, Paralegal and Practice Manager. She currently assists fee earners in the Family Department with the day-to-day running of their cases. Sheryl is known for her meticulous attention to detail, strong organisation skills and is a Microsoft Office Specialist. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, watching her football team, dancing, going to the gym, DIY and cleaning.

Amy Poynter

Legal Assistant

Amy joined the team in October 2024 as a Legal Assistant in the Family department and is now training towards her Level 3 Paralegal qualification. In the future, she aspires to qualify as a Fee Earner and begin running her own cases. She always had a passion for Law, and decided to move fully into the Law sector after years of working in Human Resources and Employment Law. Amy assists the Fee Earners with their day-to-day running of the cases by liaising with clients and other parties, and by supporting them with administrative tasks. During her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her loved ones, singing, watching Disney movies and playing video games.

Holly-Jean Packham

Office Apprentice – Family Department

Holly-Jean joined the team May 2025 and is currently working towards her Level 3 Business Administration qualification. In her Client-facing role, Holly-Jean provides excellent customer service answering the switchboard and always provides polite and professional information. Holly-Jean acquired an A-Level in Law and decided she wanted to carry on down this career path by joining our firm as an apprentice. Holly-Jean works in the Family department assisting fee-earners with their administrative tasks. Recently, she has begun assisting the Legal Family assistants with their workload. She is a quick and eager learner, Holly-Jean is constantly looking at more training for herself. Once Holly-Jean qualifies in her Business Admin role, she wishes to start a Paralegal course in our firm. During her free time, Holly-Jean enjoys attending Pilates classes, spending time with her cat, Rigby, and spending time with her friend group.

Madison Woodward

Office Apprentice – Wills and Probate Department

Madi joined the team in June 2025 as Front of House in our Sheerness office within the Wills & Probate department. She is currently completing an apprenticeship working towards her Level 3 Business Administration qualification, with aspirations to progress onto a Paralegal course and continue her career within the firm. Madi has excellent customer service and provides information in a polite and professional manner. Madi provides support to both clients and fee earners, managing a busy switchboard telephone system, assisting with enquiries, and organising appointments daily. She previously achieved A-levels in Art, Photography, and Film Studies before deciding to pursue a career in Law. Outside of work, Madi enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, baking, and exploring different food spots
